AWARENESS HIGHLIGHT

August is National Immunization Awareness Month. Protect them early. Don't wait. Vaccinate.
Vaccines are a safe and effective way to protect children from serious diseases like measles, mumps, rubella, polio, and whooping cough.

Children need vaccines beginning in infancy because they are most vulnerable to many vaccine-preventable diseases during their earliest years. Staying on schedule helps provide protection when children need it most.

This month, we’re helping parents separate fact from fiction by addressing common vaccine myths and sharing reliable information about childhood immunizations. Vaccines are thoroughly tested, continuously monitored for safety, and recommended by healthcare professionals to help keep children healthy and protected.

Talk with your child’s healthcare provider about keeping your child up to date on recommended vaccinations.

Stay protected by keeping your vaccines up to date!

Visit the CHCC Immunization Clinic Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m (Last call for vaccinations is 4:00 p.m.) and on Saturdays this month, 7:30-12:00 (last call 11:30). Call (670) 236-8745 or visit us at one of our outreach locations.
