📚🎒🏥 Back-to-School Health Fair Recap!
From health checkups to school supplies, our Back-to-School Health Fairs helped students get ready for a successful school year! The CHCC Population Health team, in partnership with @cnmipss was proud to host Back-to-School Health Fairs at Kagman High School (KHS) and William S. Reyes Elementary School (WSR).
Families enjoyed free vaccinations, sports physicals, nutrition education, and mental health resources while connecting with community organizations offering programs and services that support student health and well-being throughout the year.
Students also received backpacks and school essentials to start the year prepared and confident! 🌟
💙 A big THANK YOU to our community partners, volunteers, and supporters who made it all possible! Together, we are building healthier communities and supporting students on their path to academic and personal success.

Expanding Access to Rapid Strep Testing Across the CNMI
The Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC) Division of Public Health Services is proud to announce the distribution of 3,000 rapid strep point-of-care test kits to healthcare partners across the Commonwealth as part of the CNMI`s ongoing Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) Prevention Initiative.
Test kits were distributed to Kagman Isla Health Clinic, Southern Isla Health Clinic, Tinian Isla Health Clinic, Medical Associates of the Pacific (MAP), Marianas Medical Center (MMC), Rota Health Center, the Lucia Chang Villagomez Arizala Health Center in Tinian, and CHCC Outpatient Clinics on Saipan.
By expanding access to rapid diagnosis and timely treatment of strep throat, this initiative helps prevent acute rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease—serious but preventable conditions that continue to impact our communities.
This initiative is made possible through a partnership with the Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs (AMCHP) with funding provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). CHCC extends its sincere appreciation to our healthcare partners for their collaboration and commitment to protecting the health of CNMI children and families.
